What do phone booths look like in your country?
In Britain, they used to be red with pretty windows on three sides.
Look at the picture.
But now Britain is taking all of these old phone booths away.
Also called telephone boxes, these phone booths have been a national symbol in Britain.
People all over the world recognize them as British telephone boxes.
Many people are unhappy with the new design.
A famous American author, Bill Bryson, describes the new ones as shower stalls with advertisements on them.
